The client is seeking a candidate that can work in a fast paced, deadline driven organization. Custodian will ensure the buildings are tidy, clean, and well-maintained. The Custodians are responsible to ensure the campus buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Candidate must be capable of prioritizing tasks, follow work schedule and take pride in their work. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding, and respectful.
Job Responsibilities:

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
-
Keeping buildings free from indoor pests
-
Maintaining cleaning equipment
-
Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
-
Shampooing rugs and carpets
-
Clean kitchenettes and appliances
-
Clean, sanitize, and supply bathrooms
-
Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly
-
Sanitize High Touch Surfaces areas of the premises assigned

Clean glass and walls of fingerprints and spills
-
Ensuring the tidiness of any closed areas assigned to your schedule and properly documenting the completion of tasks in logbooks

Clean Tables and Counter Tops

Remove marks on hand surface floors
-
Perform other related duties as required

Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 30 pounds
Other Tasks:

Stripping, waxing, and scrubbing VCT floors

Seasonal Vacuum Walk-Off Mats
-
Clean Blinds and windows treatments on a Monthly basis
