The Client Service Associate plays a vital role in the dynamic and challenging Client Service Support Team. This group is responsible for producing all monthly and quarterly client reporting, the population of consultant data requests and questionnaires, and many ad hoc projects and requests. The position offers regular interaction with Senior Management, Product Analysts, and Client Portfolio Managers and exposure to all aspects of buy-side fixed income management. 

 

The Client Service Associate reports to the Client Service Team Manager.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility of the Client Service Associate is the production and external dissemination of monthly and quarterly client reporting deliverables 

  • Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly client-driven deadlines for all reporting

  • Complete consultant questionnaires and other data sheets 

  • Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy and deadlines

  • Provide feedback on technology enhancements to improve efficiencies

  • Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and provide suggestions. Areas of focus include streamlining processes, risk management, increasing efficiencies, and improving quality and response turnaround times

  • Respond to any ad hoc requests as needed to support growing business needs 

  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow

  • Partner with Client Service Analysts, Client Portfolio Managers, and other teams, including Operations, Compliance, and the Investment Team, to respond to client/consultant requests or issues.

  • Understand and accurately use the style guide

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • One to four years of relevant industry experience 

  • Comfort with Excel

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Superior communication skills – verbal and written 

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to adapt and adjust direction to meet business objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

 

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree required.
