Under the direction of the Team Lead, Creative, this position will play a key role in the Global Marketing and Communications team providing content and copywriting skills. The copywriter will work within Marketing with the Marketing Ops and Demand Center, Experience and Brand team, and Creative team to collaborate on projects ensuring work is produced on time and meets business objectives. This role will have both conceptual and technical writing responsibilities serving a wide range of audiences; customers, employees, communities, investors, and others.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Write collateral and copy for paid, earned, shared, and owned content channels for the corporate functions and business units; including, but not limited to, print advertising, email marketing, social media, blog posts, landing pages, etc.
· Write long-form pieces such as white papers, case studies, and articles
· Interview and/or research to gather necessary knowledge to complete a writing assignment.
· Write creative concepts and write copy for branding, messaging, headlines, etc.
· Work collaboratively with campaign teams and design teams to determine the most effective copy to meet business goals and objectives
· Work as a team with other copywriters, staying nimble to adjust for shifting workloads
· Develop a complete understanding of the audiences and business that you write for and know features and benefits
· Take creative direction from leadership and key stakeholders.
· Responsible for completing projects on deadline or providing advanced notice of a needed schedule change based on scope change.
· Manage a workload that includes multiple project tasks at one time.
· Ensure adequate direction, scope, and timeline are provided by the client services team for project completion; collaborate on adjustments needed at the project’s start

Requirements:
· BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent work experience
· Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter, with a portfolio
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to write in various styles and voices
· Current understanding of AP Style and grammatical trends
· Experience with lead gen and multi-touch nurture streams preferred
· Experience in enterprise web analytics preferred
· Positive, can-do outlook with a drive to roll up your sleeves and dive in
· Ability to take initiative and use good judgment independently without supervision
· Energetic & task-oriented mindset that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks efficiently with varying degrees of difficulty and under tight deadlines
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals/teams at all levels within the organization
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems utilized across the team for daily work activities
· Customer service-oriented, serving as a positive influencer and encourager for and on behalf of the team
This is a progression position and could be a level I, II, or III. Compensation and progression level will be based on the candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs.
