This is an outstanding opportunity for a Switchboard Operator to answer calls to the switchboard and route to the appropriate department. This is an onsite temp-to-hire role.

 

The candidates will be working Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Answers all inbound and internal calls to the main switchboard and directs the call to the appropriate person or department.

  • Greets employees and occasional visitors at the employee entrance.

  • Researches names, departments, and extensions for proper call routing.

  • Assists in department projects that can be performed without impacting call flow.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and customers.

  • Must be customer service oriented

  • Previous switchboard experience in a high-volume call center or customer service environment.

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a team setting.
